Gardening seems like a natural part of who I am.

My college education led me to a 20-year career in the graphic design industry... the latter 15 years spent running my own business. During that time, I became a student of horticulture and garden design. Gradually my pleasant distraction became my main attraction.

In 2006, I became a WSU Master Gardener, and worked part-time at a local Vancouver, WA nursery the following spring. And finally, my avocation became my vocation.

I branched out almost immediately into garden coaching... which is so much fun it should be illegal! Never in my wildest dreams had I envisioned that work could be so much fun and so immensely satisfying.

Currently, my practice is about half design, half coaching... with a little graphics and photography tossed into the mix. I am part artist, part horticulturist, part teacher, and part cheering section.

I would love to be a part of transforming your landscape into the wonderful place I know it can be.

On a personal note... I love the great Pacific Northwest where I’ve lived for almost a decade with Steve Wolfe who owns Pathfinder Financial Advisors, LLC, an independent fee-only financial planning firm. When gardening and coaching aren’t occupying my time, I love photography, cooking, quilting, camping, hiking, and writing.
