The Kitchen Gardener
Titchmarsh, Alan. BBC Books 2008.
--- great resource teaching about veggies/fruits and their cultivation needs, but it's a British book, and some items are named by their British name... which is not the same as it's American name. Some climate information may not match our PNW climate. And I take issue with some of the technical information... most glaringly, the illustration of how deep to plant a woody plant on p. 38. But overall, a pretty good resource for experienced gardeners learning to about edibles. Beautifully photographed.
