for

DESIGN PROJECTS
generally include:
A to-scale, full-color hardcopy map with informative labels and/or legend as defined per each level of service; (usually) 2-3 meetings. Plus, via email or on CD:
- a digital file of your plan (in pdf format)
- any photos I've taken of your property
- any plant photos I have which are appropriate to your project
- my general plant lists (in pdf format) which pertain to your situation
- any other of my general information documents that I think might be helpful to you
- my current resources list
COACHING SESSIONS generally include:
- 1-3 hours (generally) of my time at your location troubleshooting your gardening issues.... to be paid in full at end of session. Minimum charge is $60. Sessions can be of longer duration. If your location is farther than 15 miles from my studio or if I have to drive in rush-hour traffic… my driving time is added to your final price.
- Sessions are followed by a brief email recap. I may attach any of the following to the recap:
-- any plant photos I have which are appropriate to your project
-- my general plant lists (in pdf format) which pertain to your situation;
-- any other of my general information documents that I think might be helpful to you;
-- my current resources list
- I don't know everything about every aspect of gardening off the top of my head. So for an additional fee (paid at time of session), the recap can be expanded to include detailed research, photos, ID, notes, instructions, drawings, etc.
- Coaching sessions do NOT include a formally drawn plan. I occasionally do sketch smaller area concepts, but I don't draw more than simple, very-small garden borders at coaching visits… and even that is rare.
If you want/need a design plan, I will make a written estimate. I make plans for small garden areas as well as for entire yards. I just don't do it while you wait. For more reasoning on why I'm not a fan of while-you-wait design, see my More On Coaching page.
